FFU has submitted to UEFA all the necessary documents and guarantees in the framework of the application for the UEFA Super Cup match in Kharkiv

The Football Federation of Ukraine has in due time received and submitted to UEFA all the necessary materials to apply for the UEFA Super Cup 2021 in Kharkiv. About this site ffu.ua was told by the first Vice President of FFU Vadim Kostyuchenko.

According to him, in particular, these are guarantees for the implementation of this project provided by the Kharkiv Regional State Administration under the leadership of Yulia Svitlychna, Kharkiv Regional Council, Kharkiv City Council, as well as the Kharkiv airport administration and the management of Metalist.

On behalf of the Football Federation of Ukraine, I am sincerely grateful to the head of the Regional State Administration Yulia Svitlychna, the leadership of regional and city councils, the administration of Kharkiv Airport and Metalist Stadium for coordination, prepared documents and UEFA guarantees that the region is ready to make the necessary efforts to organize a football holiday. level, which, of course, was in 2018 the final of the UEFA Champions League in Kiev, "- said Vadym Kostyuchenko.

There is no doubt that Kharkiv will be able to organize the Super Cup final on a par with the UEFA Champions League final in Kyiv last year, for which the FFU and all members of the organizing committee received the highest marks, ”said Andriy Bondarenko, head of the training and holding department in Ukraine. in 2018.

Recall that before UEFA has accepted the application files from nine national associations applying for the European Cup finals in 2021 and published a list of cities contending for the relevant matches, including Kharkiv.  

The UEFA Executive Committee will announce on 29 May 2019 the associations that will host the UEFA Europa League finals, the UEFA Women's Champions League and the 2021 UEFA Cup match.
