Second League. Tavriya-Simferopol announces nine newcomers, Minaj will play in Hungary

The situation with Tavriya-Simferopol gradually normalized, and its subsequent performances in the second league of Ukraine remained in question for a long time. But it seems that the worst for Serhiy Shevchenko's wards is over.

The team stationed in Berislav has added nine newcomers at once, including a legionnaire - Serbian midfielder Angelo Kacavenda, who previously played for the youth team of Luhansk "Zorya". These days, "Tavria-Simferopol" participates in the Open Cup of the Football Federation of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea in Kherson, where it won one victory and suffered two defeats - in particular, in the last match with the local "Crystal" - 0: 1.

Crystal players are considered to be the main contenders for victory in the tournament. It is also gratifying that the main sports facility in the region, the Crystal Stadium, is undergoing a reconstruction, after which 6800 spectators will be able to be accommodated in the stands.

The leader of group "B", "Flint", held two sparring matches with "Polissya" - one of the strongest teams of group "A". Initially, a resultant draw was recorded - 4: 4, and in the second match Zhytomyr footballers still tipped the scales to their side - 2: 1. In fairness, it should be said that the leading performers - Roman Loktionov, Dmytro Zaderetsky, Vladyslav Sydorenko, Yevhen Murashov, Vladyslav Piskun - could not help in the lost match of Kremen due to micro-injuries.

Polissya joined its ranks with six recruits at once, three of whom - goalkeeper Mykita Fedotov and midfielders Maksym Borovets and Oleksiy Savchenko - are well known to head coach Anatoliy Bezsmertny, as they once played under his auspices in Poltava.

As for the leader of group "A", "Minaya", he started the next stage of training with a major victory over FC "Uzhgorod", which plays in the amateur championship of Ukraine - 3: 0. And the Transcarpathians will finish this training camp with two guest sparring matches with the Hungarian teams of the first league, "Nyíregyháza" and "Balmazujvaros", which will be held on March 21 and 23, respectively.
