U-21: Ukrainian national team draws against Latvia and wins the 2019 Antalya Cup tournament!
In the last match at the international tournament Antalya Cup 2019 in Turkey, Ukraine's national team played a draw with the Latvian team.
The fourth day of the tournament turned out to be a draw for the youth national team of Ukraine - the team gained a point in the game with the team of Latvia, which allowed the Ukrainians to remain at the top of the standings. We will remind, earlier blue-yellows played with Estonia (0:0, this match did not go to the Ukrainians in the standings), Macedonia (3:1) and Kazakhstan (2:0).

As the Ukrainians played against the Kazakhs yesterday, today in the game with the Latvians the head coach of the "youth" Ruslan Rotan rotated and gave a chance to prove himself to other players. But forward Nazariy Rusyn proved to be the best in the first half, successfully completing the actions of his partners and opening the scoring in the match.
The second half turned out to be very difficult for the Ukrainians. The Latvians, who played a draw with Kazakhstan and defeated Macedonia, had some good opportunities to stand out. Lednev, who was substituted, scored from the penalty spot, but goalkeeper Oleg Bilyk played well. Subsequently, the goalkeeper of the blue-yellows twice saved his goal. But the Ukrainians failed to hold on to the victory, missing the goal at the last minute of the meeting.
However, this draw, given the result of the match Estonia - Macedonia, allowed the Rotan team to become the winner of the international tournament!

It will be recalled that this training is one of the stages of team preparation for official competitions. In the qualifying tournament for Euro-2021 (U-21) blue and yellow will start on September 6 match with Finland.
