Premier League: Vorskla saved the match against Desna after a failed first half
Today, after the break, the draw of the Ukrainian championship among Premier League clubs resumed. The relationship was clarified by the participants, who are arguing for 7th-12th places.
The match of the teams leading the second six turned out to be productive and had an intriguing plot. Vorskla hopelessly lost the first half, missing three times. In addition, the goalkeeper of Poltava Tkachenko pulled a penalty from Artem Favorov. But after the break, the hosts got up and managed to hit the gates of Chernihiv three times. And these goals became the first after four consecutive matches of "Vorskla" on the field without goals.
In the capital, there were teams that want to take at least the ninth final place, which guarantees a stay in the Premier League next season without the need to play a transition match with the club of the first league. Arsenal-Kyiv, which showed significant progress in the game and results in 2019, this time upset the fans, losing to Olimpik, which played its first match after the resignation of Vyacheslav Shevchuk. Igor Klimovsky's debut at the head of the "Olympians" was successful: the team won for the first time since October last year. Guy opened the score from an 11-meter, which was earned by Tsymbalyuk, and then Degtyarev scored from Teixeira's pass.
Another match with the participation of teams fighting for survival took place in Lviv. Karpaty and Chornomorets did not score goals, although both rivals had moments. Myakushko from Lviv did not realize the potential goal of the Swede, and Odesa's Norenkov lost the duel to the home goalkeeper Kuchynsky. It is unlikely that this result could suit any of the participants in the match: "Karpaty" let "Olympic" closer to the saving ninth place, and "Chernomorets" remained last.
