Among those who were nominated by the Pro-League for the title of the best football player of the season in the elite division, there was a place for the midfielder of "Genk" and the national team of Ukraine Ruslan Malinowski. Unfortunately, our boy was literally not enough to win the honorary trophy. The Ukrainian lost only 13 points to the winner from Brugge, Hank Vanaken. The Belgian scored 361 points, and our guy - 348.
The triumphant ballot was determined by fellow players who played in the first two divisions of the Belgian Championship.
It is interesting that the winner, according to him, voted for Ruslan Malinowski, - the official website of the Belgian elite division reports.
It will be recalled that this season Ruslan Malinovsky has already played 49 matches for Genk, scoring 16 goals and giving 15 assists.
