Premier League: Dynamo's nervous victory and passions in the struggle for survival

On Saturday, Dynamo won a principled duel with Mariupol, and the situation in the second six became clearer.

The only match of the day in the first six could determine the champion, but Dynamo managed to reduce the gap from Shakhtar to eight points. Oleksandr Khatskevich could not count on Kadar and Buyalsky, who were injured in matches of the previous round against Zorya, and also on Mykolenko that was injured in the U-20 youth team of Ukraine. On the other hand, at the end of the meeting, for the first time this year, Besedin and Duelund, who recently returned from the hospital, got playing time.

Dangerous moments began to appear closer to the middle of the first half, when the attacking trio of "Dynamo" Tsygankov - Rusyn - de Pena started working. The most active among them was the captain, who performed a good free kick and also hit the crossbar with a powerful shot. It was Victor who assisted de Penny when the Uruguayan scored his first goal for the team during the corner. Tsygankov gave a productive pass in the fourth match in a row.

At the beginning of the second half, the hosts had a number of moments, but Tsygankova and de Penny were unlucky. Mariupol responded with a good attack by Zubkov, which Bushchan coped with. Closer to the end of the meeting, it became more interesting - Shepelev and Rusin had good chances, and Tsygankov from the penalty spot again checked the strength of the frame. However, in the 87th minute, the player of the national team of Ukraine still scored, catching the ball after the corner kick and hitting the far corner of the goal. Mariupol reduced the gap with the efforts of ex-Dynamo Fedorchuk, whom Oleksandr Babych released as a replacement. However, the Azov team failed to take at least one point and bypass Zorya in the standings. Luhansk will try not to allow Shakhtar to win the championship tomorrow.

In Lviv, Karpaty won due to their character. In difficult weather conditions, the green and whites were forced to play in the minority after Yoda received two yellow cards in one minute at the beginning of the second half. However, the Lviv team of ten began to act more sharply and immediately took the lead thanks to Ponde's goal. And at the end of the meeting the advantage of the hosts was doubled by Myakushko, who executed a great free kick from afar.

Three points helped Karpaty to leave the relegation zone, but not for long, as in the last match of the game day, Olympic defeated Chornomorets. Donetsk had a great first half, had a lot of scoring opportunities, but managed to score only Matara, who broke through the defensive order of rivals, beating Teixeira. The sailors responded only with an attack by Koval, who failed to hit the plane from an acute angle.

After the break, Chernomorets coach Angel Chervenkov threw Pavlov into the fight, and he immediately equalized the score, using a great throw from Norenkov. But in a few moments, the partners organized Vantukha to go out on his own, and the winter newcomer again brought "Olympic" forward. For 20-year-old Roman, it was his debut goal in the Premier League. As a result, Donetsk retained the advantage and after the victory bypassed the "Carpathians".
