Andriy Shevchenko summoned Artem Besedin to the camp of the national team of Ukraine

In connection with the injury of Junior Moraes, which made it impossible player participation in the next qualifying matches UEFA EURO 2020 against Serbia and Luxembourg, the head coach of the national team of Ukraine Andriy Shevchenko called up Dynamo Kyiv striker Artem Besedin to the national team. 

A year out of the national team due to injury

The last time Artem, who has 11 matches and one goal for the main team of the country, was called up to the national team exactly a year ago. During the June training camp, Besedin took part in both friendly matches - against Morocco and Albania. A little later, a serious injury left the striker out of the game for a long time, but recently Artem returned to the club. 

Serbian debut

An interesting fact is that Artem Besedin's debut in the national team coincided with the match against Serbia, with which the national team of Ukraine will play its next match. Then the blue-yellows with Besedin in the team celebrated the victory (2: 0) in a friendly match, which took place on November 15, 2016 in Kharkiv, in which, by the way, the player was born. 

This time Artem Besedin will arrive in his hometown, at the location of the main team of the country, on June 1, along with other performers who play in the domestic Premier League.
