FIFA congratulated Shakhtar Donetsk on winning the championship and the Cup of Ukraine
A letter from UAF President Gianni Infantino has been sent to UAF.
In a letter addressed to the president of the Ukrainian Football Association Andriy Pavelko, Infantino asked to convey congratulations to FC Shakhtar (Donetsk) with the third consecutive "golden double".
"It is without a doubt the result of great effort and hard work, and everyone involved in the success can be proud of this great achievement. I would be very grateful if you would congratulate the players, coaches, administration, all technical and medical staff of FC Shakhtar, as well as the club's fans. I would like to wish them to continue working with the same determination and motivation, "the letter reads.
The FIFA President also thanks the Ukrainian Football Association and FC Shakhtar Donetsk for helping to spread a positive football image and supporting a game that unites everyone.
