Euro 2020. Ukraine's national team begins preparations for matches against Serbia and Luxembourg

The first to arrive at the location of the national team of Ukraine in the Kharkiv hotel Superior Golf & Spa Resort were legionnaires - players of "Genta" Roman Yaremchuk and Igor Plastun, Vasyl Kravets from "Leganes", Marian Shved from "Celtic" and Ivan Petryak, who has the contract with Ferencvaros is valid. 

Almost simultaneously with the players of the national team, eight candidates appeared for the "youth", which will hold a joint meeting with the main team of the country in Kharkiv. Young and more experienced performers live and work on the same schedule: the first item on the program was a group lunch. And on the 17th, all the blue and yellow players present in the camp will hold their first training session at the Sunny Stadium.

Gradual filling of the warehouse 

Tonight Andriy Yarmolenko, Yevhen Konoplyanka and Roman Bezus will join the national team, as well as three other football players from the youth team. On May 27-28, the rest of the legionnaires will arrive - Ruslan Malinovsky, Oleksandr Zinchenko, Artem Kravets and Eduard Sobol.

And on June 1, the composition of the national team will be replenished with players from the Ukrainian Premier League.

Igor Plastun: "The team is the top" 

In a conversation with the press service of the national team, Ihor Plastun said that he managed to relax with his family before the gathering, in particular - to visit Lviv for tourist purposes. Igor also shared his emotions from the call to the ranks of the blue and yellows: "The team is the top in the player's career, so the call here is a real happiness! I came with a positive attitude and a desire to apply for the game. We need to work fruitfully, because we have very important matches ahead of us. I think the advantage for the team is that we gathered earlier than our opponents - we will have more time to prepare. "

Ivan Petryak: "Retired from stress, ready to work" 

Ivan Petryak, who recently became a father, admitted that coming to the national team is an additional opportunity for him to distract himself from the emotionally negative end of the club season: “For 1,5 months I had a very difficult period associated with changing clubs. I felt all the negativity of the fans. The birth of a son helped to get out of this stress - I just threw all the negativity out of my head. Now he came to the national team only with positive emotions to prove his readiness to help the team. While I was without playing practice, I worked actively myself, so I look forward to immersing myself in the training process! ”
