Andrey Pavelko and Vadim Sviridenko congratulate the winners of the second draw of the Unbeaten Cup

The project is an initiative of the authorized President of Ukraine for the rehabilitation of ATO participants Vadim Sviridenko and the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, and the event was organized by the Ukrainian Football Association.

The matches of the tournament were attended by honorary guests - President of the Ukrainian Football Association Andriy Pavelko, First Vice President of UAF Vadym Kostyuchenko, Secretary General Yuri Zapisotsky, Deputy Minister for Veterans Oleksandr Tereshchenko, Presidential Commissioner for Rehabilitation of ATO Vadym Svyridenko.

The tournament was attended by five teams from different regions of the country, formed of anti-terrorist operation veterans who received serious injuries defending our country in the East: FC "Purple Hearts" (Kiev), FC "Volyn YES" (Lutsk), FC Cherkasy Cossacks ”(Cherkasy), FC“ Poliska Sich ”(Rivne),“ Fine City ”(Ternopil). It is interesting that for the second time in a row the trophy was won by the Volyn YES team, which will take it to Lutsk again for a year.

The president of the UAF also stressed that this tournament has already become a tradition, and the football association will support it in every possible way. "Such meetings, sporting events and communication of our heroes are extremely necessary for them, it helps to maintain the fighting spirit and sets a positive example for the younger generation. Dear our defenders, remember that the House of Football is also your home, and we are always ready to help and support you. Deputy Minister for Veterans Affairs Oleksandr Tereshchenko thanked the participants for the steadfastness: “It was raining today, but he can't stop and scare you, because you are unconquered, you are all winners. I enjoyed your game, so I congratulate you and on behalf of the Ministry I thank the Ukrainian Football Association, which organizes and supports such wonderful tournaments, with such prizes and cups as in the Champions League. I wish you to continue in the coming years. "

The initiative to call the tournament the Cup of the Unconquered belonged to the Commissioner of the President of Ukraine for Rehabilitation of ATO Participants Vadym Svyridenko. "Thank you for the courage you showed on the battlefield by stopping the aggressor. All of Ukraine thanks you! Today you are struggling with your severe injuries, but you are unbreakable, you are moving forward, and the whole country, the whole invincible Ukrainian people, is proud of you, ”Vadym Svyridenko addressed his comrades-in-arms.
After the tournament, all participants received special awards, medals and gifts from the Ukrainian Football Association. The best players in the nominations were awarded separately. The best player of the tournament was Bohdan Seredenko ("Purple Hearts"), the best goalkeeper - Andriy Smerdov ("Volyn YES"), the best scorer was Vladislav Sidorenko from the team "Cherkasy Cossacks".

The main purpose of such competitions is to provide support and assistance to the defenders of Ukraine in passing a successful psychological and social rehabilitation after returning from the war. The Ukrainian Football Association is a reliable partner of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and combat veterans and will continue to support all rehabilitation football projects involving the defenders of our state.
