UEFA coefficients table: final schedule in the top zone
Following the five-year cycle, which ended on Saturday the Champions League final match, Ukraine took ninth place in the UEFA coefficient table.
As a result, Dynamo scored 13 points during the season, Shakhtar - 10 (four of them - bonuses for participation in the group stage of the Champions League), "Vorskla" has two points, "Zorya" and "Mariupol" - one and a half. In total - 28 points, the coefficient - 5,600 and the ninth position in the ranking.
It will be recalled that the seventh, eighth and ninth associations in the UEFA coefficient table have exactly the same rights in both European Cups. Namely - the participation of five clubs: two - in the Champions League (one - in the group stage, one - in the third qualifying round) and three - in the Europa League (one - in the group stage, one - in the third qualifying round and one - in the second qualification).
Note that this table forms the representation for the European Cup season 2020/2021. Representatives of the first 10 associations will get to the group round of the Champions League, and the top four will delegate four clubs to the main grid at once.
From 2021 the scheme will be adjusted in connection with reform in the European Cups and launch of the third tournament.
