2019 World Cup (U-20): relocation of the national team to the residence in Lodz and recovery procedures

Today the Ukrainian national team made a three-hour bus ride to the Polish industrial city of Lodz, where it will prepare for the quarter-finals of the World Cup against the Colombian team.

Blue and yellow goalkeeper Andriy Lunin left the team in the morning and flew to Kharkiv to host the national team of Ukraine, where he will prepare for the 2020 European Championship qualifiers against Serbia and Luxembourg. At breakfast, the team congratulated goalkeeping coach Vyacheslav Kernozenko on his birthday.

In Lodz, the team is located in the city center, at the Ambasador Premium Hotel, where future rivals - Colombians, as well as the Senegalese team already live. After a short rest, Oleksandr Petrakov's wards went to an evening class, the team reached the training field in 15 minutes. The players were divided into two groups. Those who played yesterday from the starting minutes in the match against Panama, did a run and exercises to warm up the muscles, another group performed a variety of game exercises. The training itself aroused interest in the Colombian media, which visited the open part of the session.

After the lesson, the players were expected to have water treatments - swimming pool, sauna, jacuzzi, which is very important in the process of restoring physical and psychological condition after the match against Panama.

It will be recalled that the quarterfinal match against Colombia will begin on June 7 at 16.30 pm Kyiv time at Lodz Stadium, which seats 18 spectators.
