League of Nations: Cristiano Ronaldo's hat-trick takes Portugal to the final of the tournament

In the semi-finals of the League of Nations, the Portuguese national team, Ukraine's contender in the Euro-2020 selection, beat the Swiss national team to reach the first ever tournament final.

In the semi-final duel of the Four Nations League Final in Porto, Fernando Santusha's team met with the Swiss team. The Portuguese opened the scoring in the 25th minute of the match thanks to the individual efforts of their captain, Cristiano Ronaldo. The striker earned a free kick and executed his trademark strike. The goalkeeper was powerless. 1: 0.

In the second half, the Swiss rushed to play and were rewarded. 57 minutes into the match, the referee ruled a penalty for Felix Brych, who had to leave the fray. Ricardo Rodriguez's shot was apt. 11: 1.

And then Ronaldo demonstrated his genius again. In three minutes at the end of the duel he managed to upset the Swiss goalkeeper twice and draw a hat trick that gave his team the victory.
