In the quarterfinal match of the World Junior Championship our team minimally beat rivals from Colombia.

Victory over the Panama team in the previous round allowed the blue and yellows to make their debut in the quarterfinals of the World Cup. In comparison with that duel Alexander Petrakov made two changes - Kishchuk took Tsitaishvili's place, and in a gate instead of called to the national team of Lunin Kucheruk appeared.

From the start of the match, the Ukrainians began to attack sharply, which resulted in Kashchuk's blow to the plane and a good moment for Buletsa. Towards the end of regular time, opponents became more active. Hernandez and Carbonero scored long shots, and Sandoval in the 81st minute gave a very dangerous pass in the penalty area of ​​Ukraine. However, this ended Colombia's offensive efforts. And soon the Latin Americans were left with ten - for a foul against Popov, Carbonero received a straight red. Unfortunately, Denis himself was injured and could not continue the fight.

As a result, the blue and yellows won another victory at the World Cup. Now, on June 11, in Gdynia, they are vying for a ticket to the final with the winner of the match between Italy and Mali.
