President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky congratulates football players and coaches of U-20 youth team on the triumph at the World Cup held in Poland.

Immediately after the final match of the tournament, the Head of State called the President of the Ukrainian Football Association Andriy Pavelko, who was on the field with the team at the time, congratulated him on the team's victory and asked him to hand over the players and head coach Oleksandr Petrakov.

According to the players themselves, Volodymyr Zelensky expressed admiration for the winning performance of their team at the World Cup, congratulated on the historical achievements of the national team and all Ukrainian football, and wished new high team and personal football achievements in the future.

We will remind that today, on June 15 in Lodz, Poland, the youth national team of Ukraine U-20 in the final of the world championship met with the national team of South Korea and won with a score of 3: 1. Thus, blue and yellow for the first time in history won the championship cup and gold medals of the tournament.
