Defender of the youth national team of Ukraine U-20 Viktor Kornienko spoke about the victory of the blue and yellows at the World Cup in Poland and the role of head coach Oleksandr Petrakov.

- Victor, what are your emotions after winning the World Cup?

- Emotions are the most positive, feelings are a bomb! It's like getting a star out of the sky. We are happy, we are smiling.

- What was the task of the national team in the tournament - to get out of the group?

- We had a goal - to make it to the finals. We slowly went to this goal and eventually completed the task.

- Which match in Poland do you remember the most?

- All the games were difficult, emotional, starting with the match against the Americans. But the most memorable and difficult was the game in the final.

- Was there enough strength for the whole tournament?

- At first it was easy. But in the end it became difficult. In the last two matches we already felt tired, our legs behaved differently. But the most important thing was the mood. We only thought about victory, so the result is this.

- How did Alexander Petrakov motivate you at the match?

- He is a strong motivator. It is impossible to convey this in words - it is necessary to hear. Our coach is a great person.

- How do you see your future career?

- We must not stop there, grow and progress further.
