Second League. Seven newcomers and ambitious old-timers plans for the new season

The annual PFL conference, which took place on June 27 in Kiev, was eagerly awaited by the fans who are watching the rivalry of the second-team teams.

And yesterday they waited for comprehensive information: 23 teams will take part in the tournament, divided into two groups, and among them seven newcomers at once. These are the second teams of Chornomorets, Obolon-Brovar, Avangard, as well as Uzhhorod, Alliance (Lypova Dolyna), Dinaz (Vyshhorod), VPK-Agro (Magdaliniv district).

According to reliable information, the Alliance will hold its matches of the autumn part of the championship in Sumy at the Jubilee Stadium. Uzhhorod fans of the leather ball are also in high spirits, believing that their team, following the example of their compatriots from Minaya, will not waste time on promotion.

However, we must admit that it will be difficult for newcomers to apply for places on the podium, because there are many candidates for promotion in the class. In particular, the management of FC immediately set a task for the new manager of "Veres" Yuriy Virt: to win a pass to the first league. By the way, Yuriy already headed the Rivne team two and a half years ago, and, of course, he will make every effort not to disappoint the club management and fans. Although, as the stadium in Rivne is under reconstruction, "Veres" will again be forced to perform in one of the arenas of the region. It is safe to say that Yaroslav Rafalsky, Stanislav Chuchman, Oleksandr Bondarenko, Marat Daudov and Oleg Maik will no longer represent Rivne. So, a lot will depend on how the transfer market will work in Rivne in the near future.

Zaporizhzhya Metalurh also has serious intentions to win a ticket to the first league. The other day, head coach Oleg Taran was forced to resign, but he failed to conquer this height last season. He was replaced by Ivan Bohatyr, who will be assisted by Oleksiy Godin, Ruslan Galiguzov and Georgy Negirev.

But Kalush has not yet found a new manager after the resignation of head coach Andriy Nesteruk. Yuriy Kasiyanchuk, the general director, will no longer work at the club.

The club management of Bukovyna and Nikopol has also started work. These teams have retained the status of masters, but they need to be seriously strengthened, both as coaches and players. Otherwise, another failure will be difficult to avoid.

Finally, the PFL conference delegates voted to exclude Sumy and Mir from the second league.
