Ukraine U-17 Futsal Team Returns From Italy International Medal Tournament
In the Italian Montesilvano Futsal Cup-2019, the girls team won gold awards and the youth team — silver.
On June 23-29, competitions were held in Italy, in which the girls' national team of Ukraine U-17 under the leadership of Oleg Shaitanov and the youth national team of Ukraine U-17 under the leadership of Vitaly Odegov took part.
Our girls took first place in the group, in the semifinals they defeated a peer from Australia (8: 0), and in the final they defeated the Finnish team Kampuksen Dynamo (4: 0). Note that in five matches in the tournament, the blue-yellows scored 38 goals and conceded only one.
The young men also took the first place in their quartet, then in the semifinals they defeated the Italian Acqua & Sapone (2: 2, penalty 4: 3), but in the decisive match they lost to other hosts - with Cioli Ariccia Valmontone (1: 3).
