The number of UPL clubs participating in the 2021/2022 season will increase to 16
Today, on July 10, a meeting of the Executive Committee of the Ukrainian Football Association took place in the House of Football.
Following the results of the work, the Committee approved the following format of Ukrainian competitions among teams of UPL clubs:
- season 2019/2020 - 12 clubs;
- season 2020/2021 - 14 clubs;
- season-2021/2022 - 16 clubs.
The Ukrainian Premier League, the Professional Football League and the Amateur Football Association of Ukraine must take this decision into account when preparing the competition regulations for the following seasons.
