Training House for UAF Candidate and Football Club Security Officers Held at Football House

A training seminar was held for candidates for UAF delegates and security officers of UPL football clubs following the results of the 2018/2019 season.

The seminar was attended by First Vice President of the UAF Vadym Kostyuchenko, Chairman of the Commission for Attestation of UAF Delegates and Security Officers Igor Gataullin and Adviser to the President of the UAF on stadiums and competition safety Ivan Fedorenko, as well as representatives of professional football clubs in Ukraine and domestic stadiums.

At the beginning of the seminar, Vadym Kostyuchenko addressed the audience with a welcoming speech, thanking them for their work in their clubs last season and noting that after creating new standards in organizing and holding matches under the auspices of the National Association for UEFA Complaints. in previous years it has become much smaller. And now the UAF will focus on the future matches of our national team in Kharkiv and especially in Kyiv, where one of the decisive matches of the blue-yellows - against the national team of Portugal - will take place at the NSC Olimpiysky. Therefore, Vadym Kostyuchenko proposed to take as a basis the scheme of preparation for the recent final of the Champions League in Kyiv, held according to the highest standards.

At the same time, summing up the results of the last championship of Ukraine in the context of match safety, the first vice-president of UAF noted unpleasant cases of disorder that took place in stadiums in head-to-head matches for the right to play in the UPL between Kolos and Chornomorets and Volyn. "And" Karpaty ":" We need to draw conclusions and, perhaps, to impose tougher sanctions on clubs that fail. Such things do not adorn our championship, so we must continue to work in the direction of training stewards, security officers, cooperation between clubs and law enforcement agencies. We understand who is responsible, but let's also lend a hand to each other and help in our common cause so that there are no more such cases. "

The dialogue of those involved in the organization and holding of the competition was comprehensive. UAF specialists focused on ensuring compliance with current legislation and regulations when holding football matches in Ukraine, the role of stewards in the system of public order and public safety before, during and after football matches and the responsibility of clubs for violating the rules of conduct at the stadium.

During the theoretical part of the seminar, participants heard updated practical recommendations from UEFA on the safety and conduct of football matches regarding the use of fans at the pyrotechnic stadiums.

Representatives of football clubs and the police department also spoke at the seminar.

The results of the seminar were summed up by Ivan Fedorenko, who called on everyone to ensure the unconditional fulfillment of their functional responsibilities and compliance with current legislation and, if necessary, to contact the Committee on Stadiums and Competition Safety.
