Ukrainian students from Kharkov - bronze medalists of the European Championship!
From 20 to 27 July, the European Football Championship among student teams took place in Spanish Madrid. Participated in women's competitions 11 national teams higher education institutions of virginscountries.
In the women's tournament Ukraine was represented by the team of Kharkiv State Academy of Physical Education. As a result, our girls took third place.
In the group stage, the blue and yellows defeated the representatives of Norway (9: 1), France (8: 1), lost to Germany (0: 1), drew with Switzerland (1: 1) and defeated Spain (4: 1). Taking the second place in the sextet, Kharkiv in a duel for bronze won over the French team from the University of Montpellier - 6: 2.
