The draw for the decisive stage of qualification of two European Cups will take place today

Today, August 5, potential rivals of Dynamo in the Champions League, as well as Mariupol and Zorya in the Europa League will be determined in Nyon. 

The draw for the play-off round of both European Cups will take place today at UEFA headquarters. Dynamo, which will play against Belgian Brugge in the third qualifying round of the Champions League on August 6 and 13, is in the seeded group, and among its probable opponents are Swiss Basel, Austrian LASK, Turkish Istanbul-Istanbul and Greek "Olympiacos".  

"Mariupol" and "Zorya" have a seedless status before the draw of this stage, but, let us remind you, both teams still need to overcome the resistance of the Dutch AZ and the Bulgarian CSKA in the third qualifying round, respectively. 

In total, our association will be represented on the international arena in the 2019/2020 season by five clubs. Shakhtar and Oleksandriya already have tickets to the group stage of the Champions League and Europa League, respectively.

Champions League

UPL Champion (Shakhtar) starts in the group round.

The draw is on August 29, the first round is on September 17/18.

UPL Vice Champion (Dynamo) starts in the third qualifying round.

Rival - Brugge (Belgium), matches - August 6 and August 13.

Europa League

Bronze medalist of UPL ("Alexandria") starts in the group round.

The draw is on August 30, the first round is on September 19.

Fourth UPL team (Mariupol) starts in the third qualifying round.

Opponent - AZ (Netherlands), matches - August 8 and August 15.

Fifth UPL team (Zorya) started in the second qualifying round, "Future" (Montenegro), made it to the third qualifying round.

Rival - CSKA (Bulgaria), matches - August 8 and August 15.
