The Military Institute for Telecommunications and Informatics opened a football field

August 8 to the Day of Communications Troops at the Military Institute of Telecommunications and Informatization. Heroes of Kruty was the opening of a new football field.

The ceremony was attended by the head of VITI, Colonel Yevhen Stepanenko, People's Deputy of Ukraine, graduate of the Institute Yuriy Aristov, adviser to the President of UAF Valentyn Latypov and President of the team of journalists, editor-in-chief of IA "News Center" Olga Vytak.

Colonel Stepanenko addressed the VITI cadets with a welcoming speech, noting that this is the first football field installed at the military institute: “Thank you to everyone who helped build a football field for our cadets. In our institute, this field symbolizes a new stage of development. Football for the military is another training process. Therefore, we will not stop, such a program will continue. We have plans to build a NATO-style obstacle course, in addition to a football field, to build basketball and volleyball courts. "

After the ribbon-cutting ceremony and the opening of the football field, Yuriy Aristov congratulated all the liaison officers involved in the holiday and presented each cadet of the institute participating in all-Ukrainian matches with two sets of Joma professional football uniforms.

"During our student years at this institute, we repeatedly played football and basketball. For servicemen, sport is an important part of life, it organizes and teaches discipline. It is very good that now our cadets have the opportunity to play sports on a modern football field, in professional football uniform. I am very glad that I became a part of this football holiday, "Aristov said.

In turn, Valentyn Latypov congratulated the cadets on behalf of UAF President Andriy Pavelko and presented honorary awards for the development of football among the military - in particular, Colonel Oleg Serom and Deputy Head of the Institute, Colonel Vitaly Tarasov.

"I am pleased to send you congratulations from the President of the Ukrainian Football Association Andriy Pavelko and thank you for your active sports position, bright game and wonderful football holiday! The main victory went to the military, who will be preparing for new tournaments on the modern football field.

It will be recalled that the national team of journalists of Ukraine has been participating in charity matches under the auspices of the UAF, which are designed to help orphans, the disabled, and displaced children from eastern Ukraine and the Crimea since 2016.
