Women's Champions League: Kharkiv's Zhytlobud-1 leaves no chance for Bettemberg

Kharkiv "Zhytlobud-1" won the second victory in the qualifying stage of the Women's Champions League.

After victories over Croatian Split in the second round, the Ukrainians faced Luxembourg's Bettemburg. The intrigue in the match, which took place in Vysokyi near Kharkiv, disappeared during its first half. Taisiya Nesterenko opened the scoring in the 4th minute, and soon Yulia Shevchuk doubled the advantage of the hosts. Anna Voronina also scored before the break, and Nesterenko scored a double.

In the second half, Zhytlobud-1 tried to increase the important goal difference for the standings, but only Alevtina Utytskykh and Anna Petryk managed to score. As a result, "Bettemburg" conceded six goals, and in response struck only one blow towards the goal of the Ukrainians.

In another match of the second round in Group 4, "Minsk" minimally beat the Croatian "Split". It is with the Belarusian team that Zhytlobud-1 will meet on Tuesday, August 13.

It should be reminded that the winners of each of the 1 groups will reach the 16/10 finals of the Champions League, so the Ukrainian women need to score three points in the next meeting.
