The sixth international youth tournament in honor of Andriy Havashi starts in Transcarpathia

On August 13, the sixth traditional international youth tournament will start in Transcarpathia in honor of the well-known pupil of local football Andriy Gavasha, who played for Dynamo Kyiv in 1959-1960 and was invited to join the USSR national team. У In February he celebrated his 80th birthday.

Traditionally, the tournament is attended by teams of age categories U-17 and U-15, for whom this is a great opportunity to prepare for the new season in DUFLU. This year, respectively, young men born in 2003 and 2005 will play. Only Shakhtar declared the team born in 17 (U-2004) for the U-16 category, but the miners are two-time champions of Ukraine.

Dynamo, the champion of Ukraine in 2017 and the vice-champion of 2018, will play in the same age group. But in 2019, Kyiv performed very poorly, taking only seventh place in the final tournament. One of the stages of work on errors should take place in Transcarpathia.

It is worth noting some other participants who played in the final tournament of the DUFL Championships.

In the U-17 category it is UFC Dnipro (5th place in 2018, 8th in 2019), OK them. I. Piddubny (8th place in 2017), Zmina-Obolon (5th place in 2019), in the U-15 category - Shakhtar (1st place in 2019), "Dnipro" (5th place in 2019), "Metallurg" (7th place in 2019).

Local teams will also play - SDYUSSHOR (Uzhhorod), "Munkach" (Mukachevo), "Zinedine" (Uzhhorod district).

Hungarian "Varda" (Kishvarda) and Jozef Bozyk Football Academy "Spartakus" (Nyíregyháza) will visit Transcarpathia from abroad.

The matches of the group tournament will be held on August 13-15 at the stadiums of Uzhhorod (Avangard (three fields), Avtomobilist, Spartak), Mukachevo (Kharchovik), Kamyanytsia (Camelot) and Seredny (village stadium). .

At the end of the group tournament on August 16 will be a day off (this day will be a seminar for coaches), on the 17th there will be butt matches, on the 18th - the final.
