The annual Independence Cup charity tournament takes place in Kiev

On the occasion of the 28th anniversary of Ukraine's independence in Kyiv in the fields with artificial turf NTK them. V. Bannikov hosted the annual tournament "Independence Cup".

This tournament brought together representatives of politicians, law enforcement agencies, journalists and football officials for a charitable purpose - to help displaced children from eastern Ukraine to play sports.

Before the tournament, the kid unfurled a huge flag of our state on the occasion of Flag Day, and the first vice-president of UAF Vadym Kostyuchenko, Minister of Culture of Ukraine Yevhen Nyschuk and first deputy director of the State Bureau of Investigation Olga Varchenko addressed the participants with a welcoming speech. Dmytro Storozhuk, First Deputy Prosecutor General of Ukraine, Oleksandr Buryak, Deputy Director of the State Bureau of Investigation, and Oleh Protasov, First Vice President of the UAF, were also honored guests of the tournament.

A representative of the national team was also present at the tournament. The team of the Ukrainian Football Association was strengthened by a prominent domestic goalkeeper, ex-goalkeeper of Dynamo and the national team of Ukraine, and now - one of Andriy Shevchenko's assistants Oleksandr Shovkovsky. By the way, he showed his skills by playing the role of a field player.

As for the competition itself, 10 teams were divided into two groups. The team of the State Fiscal Service of Ukraine, the team of DSI Group, the team of the Prosecutor General's Office of Ukraine, the team of the Ukrainian Football Association, the team of builders of Ukraine competed in group "A". Group "B" was formed by the team of the State Bureau of Investigation, the team of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, the team of journalists of Ukraine, the team of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine and FC "Maestro".

According to the competition rules, the teams that scored the most points in the group stage reached the finals. The teams that took second place in the groups played in the match for third place.

In Group A, the fight for the first place to the last took place between the teams of the Prosecutor General's Office of Ukraine and the State Fiscal Service of Ukraine, which proved to be stronger than other rivals. In group "B" the team of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine finished first, the team of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine finished second.

Thus, in the match for the third place the national teams of the Prosecutor General's Office of Ukraine and the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine met. Representatives of the prosecutor's office were stronger - 3: 0.

The decisive match presented a crazy tension and incredible intrigue, which lasted until the final whistle, which recorded the victory of the State Fiscal Service of Ukraine over the team of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine - 3: 2.

President of the Ukrainian Football Association Andriy Pavelko, First Vice-President of the UAF Vadym Kostyuchenko, Deputy Director of the State Bureau of Investigation Oleksandr Buryak took part in the ceremony of awarding the teams with cups, medals and diplomas.

"These days, the Day of the State Flag of Ukraine and the Independence Day of Ukraine, it is important that such tournaments continue and be traditional. It is very important that such competitions unite different authorities, journalists, football veterans and promote the development of football in our country. I congratulate you on the holidays and wish you success, "said Andriy Pavelko, addressing the participants of the tournament.

the best goalkeeper - Volodymyr Nehil (State Fiscal Service of Ukraine);

the best defender - Yevhen Batik (Prosecutor General's Office of Ukraine);

the best striker - Maxim Korzikov (Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine);

кbest player of the tournament - Irina Vasilyuk (UAF).
