All potential rivals of the national team of Ukraine at the World Beach Games in Qatar have been identified

The Beach Soccer Team of Ukraine has learned the names of all its potential rivals at the World Beach Games in Qatar. 

The first-ever World Beach Games will be held in Qatar from October 11 to 16. Ukrainian beach soccer team qualified for the competition in May during a European qualifying tournament in the Spanish town of Salou. Together with our team, Spain, Italy, Russia and Switzerland were eligible to represent Europe at the Games.

Within a month, the African selection stage took place, which identified the representatives of the Black Continent at the World Beach Forum. They were Senegal and Morocco.

In three other confederations, the participants of the tournament in Qatar were determined according to their world ranking. Thus, Iran, Japan and the UAE (all - Asia), Brazil, Paraguay and Uruguay (all - South America) and the Solomon Islands (Oceania) qualified for the World Beach Games.

Representatives of the CONCACAF region were the most recent. The qualifying tournament was held in El Salvador, and the winners were the masters of the competition and the Mexicans.

So, the full list of participants of the World Beach Games in the discipline of beach soccer looks like this: Spain, Italy, Russia, Switzerland, Ukraine, Iran, Japan, UAE, Senegal, Morocco, Brazil, Paraguay, Uruguay, Solomon Islands, El Salvador, Mexico.  

The draw for the final part of the World Beach Games will take place on August 27 in the Qatari capital Doha (starting at 10.00 Kyiv time).
