Structure of the Ukrainian Cup season 2019/2020

The first preliminary stage

20 clubs (2 amateur teams + 18 teams of the 2nd league) took part in the first preliminary stage. 

Matches happened 20.08.2019. 

10 teams qualified for the second preliminary stage.

The second preliminary stage

26 teams (10 winners of the first preliminary stage + 15 teams of the 1st league + FC Arsenal Kyiv *)

Matches - 27.08.2019. 

* FC Arsenal (Kyiv) withdrew from the Ukrainian Cup after the structure of the competition was approved by the UAF Executive Committee. The rival of FC "Arsenal" (Kyiv), "Agribusiness" (Volochysk), automatically got to the third preliminary stage.

20 teams (13 winners of the second preliminary stage + 1 team of the 1st league (FC "Chornomorets" Odessa) + 6 teams of the UPL (7-12th places))

- All stages consist of one match.

- Before each stage, a draw is held, the results of which determine the pairs of participating teams.

- The host of the field is a team that plays in a league lower in rank. If there are teams in the same league, the host is the team that has an odd number in the draw.

- The host team of the final match is determined by a draw.
