On the second day of the Victor Bannikov Tournament, the U-17 youth team of Ukraine (players not older than 2003) met with their peers from Azerbaijan, who yesterday with a big score (0: 6) lost to the Israel team.

Naturally, the favorites were Oleksandr Petrakov's wards, who seized the initiative from the very beginning and opened the scoring in the 6th minute: Mykytyshyn took advantage of Tesliuk's pass. The guests did not have time to recover, as Lebedev doubled the advantage of the blue and yellow. It was the 9th minute of the match.

In the future, the Azerbaijanis tried to level the game, they earned some corner kicks, but they failed to create something dangerous at the fast goal. Moreover, by the end of the half, the blue and yellows had scored the third goal: 36 minutes into the match, Tesluk hit the opponent's goal. After 40 minutes, the game was completed. Hasanov fouled on Teslyuk, and the referee classified the violation as a foul of last hope, awarding a penalty 17 meters from the goal. Lebedev skillfully met the standard, kissing at nine. 4: 0.

However, the second half of the match did not start the way the head coach of the Ukrainian national team wanted. Relaxation in defense led to the fact that the Azerbaijanis first played one ball, and in the 56th minute scored a second time.

And only after that the Ukrainians regained control over the game. And if not everything went ahead of them, then they did not let the opponent to their goal. As a result, the game, which took place mainly on the approaches to the penalty area, ended - 4: 2.
