Today Shakhtar will meet their opponents in the Champions League group round
Today, August 29, at 19.00 pm Kyiv time, the draw for the group stage of the UEFA Champions League will start in Monaco, in which last season's Ukrainian champion Shakhtar Donetsk will take part.
Recall that the main team of the Champions League Ukrainian team got directly. For Donetsk club this will be the 14th season in the group round of the tournament.
According to individual odds, 24 of the 32 participants in the Champions League formed three baskets - from second to fourth. But the champions of the first six associations in the table of UEFA coefficients got to the first, which was joined by the winner of the Champions League (Liverpool) and the winner of the Europa League (Chelsea).
According to the regulations, the representatives of one association, even if they fall into different baskets, will be separated from each other. In addition, according to UEFA's decision, Shakhtar will not be in the same group with Russia's Zenit and Lokomotiv.
