In the second match of the Euroleague Superfinal 2019, the national team of Ukraine in beach soccer lost to the national team of Portugal.

After defeat in the opening match of the 2019 Euroleague Super Final from the Italians (4: 5) Evgeny Varenytsia's wards, in order to preserve at least theoretical chances of reaching the final of the tournament, had to win today the Portuguese.

In the match in the town of Figueira da Foz, the blue and yellows managed to open the score in the 8th minute. This was done by Yuriy Shcherytsia. However, the joy of Ukrainians did not last very long. Already in the next attack, the opponent equalized with a shot by Mager.

All further attacks of our team were in vain. But the Portuguese scored the ball in the second and third periods. This was done by Bernarda Martins and Jordan. As a result, 1: 3 - the second consecutive defeat of the national team of Ukraine.

In another match in Group 2, Italy easily defeated Turkey - 7: 2. Thus, our quartet is led by Italians and Portuguese, who have six points each and exactly the same goal difference. The national team of Ukraine occupies the third place. Like the Turkish team, it has no points.

Tomorrow Yevhen Varenytsia's charges will play their last match in Group 2 against Turkey.
