U-17: Ukraine's youth team begins preparations for an international tournament in Latvia

The Ukrainian National Team (players not older than 2003) will participate in an international tournament in Latvia.

Today in the youth national team of Ukraine U-17 the training camp begins, during which the blue-yellows will take part in the tournament of four national teams. In Latvia, Oleksandr Petrakov's wards will meet with the home team (September 21), as well as peers from Turkey (23rd) and Northern Macedonia (25th).

The head coach of the Ukrainians has named the line-up that will prepare for these matches.

Goalkeepers: Timur Puzankov (Shakhtar Donetsk), Pavlo Isenko (Vorskla Poltava).

Defenders: Volodymyr Malenkov, Maksym Dyachuk (both Dynamo Kyiv), Mark Mampassi (Shakhtar Donetsk), Vitaliy Roman (Karpaty Lviv), Glib Savchuk (UFK-Karpaty Lviv).

Midfielders: Oleksandr Jacyk, Maksym Bomashchuk (both Dynamo Kyiv), Artur Mykytyshyn (Shakhtar Donetsk), Maksym Khlan (Karpaty Lviv), Vasyl Tanchak (Lviv), Mykita Kononov, Serhiy Lebedev (both Dnipro -1 »Dnipro), Bohdan Shubin (Schalke, Germany).

Forwards: Nazar Voloshin, Kirill Popov, Igor Gorbach (all - Dynamo Kyiv), Denis Shostak (Shakhtar Donetsk).

Recall that in the qualifying round of Euro 2020 (U-17), which will be held in Portugal in November this year, the national team of Ukraine will play against Georgia (13th), Albania (16th) and Portugal (19th).
