U-17: Ukraine's youth team begins preparations for an international tournament in Latvia

The Ukrainian National Team (players not older than 2003) will participate in an international tournament in Latvia.

Today the U-17 youth team of Ukraine starts a gathering, during which the blue and yellow will take part in the tournament of four teams. In Latvia, Alexander Petrakov's team will meet with a team of hosts (21 September), as well as peers from Turkey (23rd) and Northern Macedonia (25th).

The head coach of the Ukrainians has named the line-up that will prepare for these matches.

Goalkeepers: Timur Puzankov (Shakhtar Donetsk), Pavel Isenko (Vorskla Poltava).

Defenders: Volodymyr Malenkov, Maxim Dyachuk (both Dynamo Kyiv), Mark Mampassi (Shakhtar Donetsk), Vitaliy Roman (Karpaty Lviv), Gleb Savchuk (UFC-Karpaty Lviv).

Midfielders: Oleksandr Yatsik, Maxim Bomashchuk (both Dynamo Kyiv), Artur Mykytyshyn (Shakhtar Donetsk), Maxim Hlan (Karpaty Lviv), Vasyl Tanchak (Lviv), Nikita Kononov, Sergey Lebedev (both Dnipro) -1 ”Dnipro), Bohdan Schubin (Schalke, Germany).

Forwards: Nazar Voloshin, Kirill Popov, Igor Gorbach (all - Dynamo Kyiv), Denis Shostak (Shakhtar Donetsk).

Recall that in the qualifying round of Euro 2020 (U-17), which will be held in Portugal this November, Ukraine will play with Georgia (13th), Albania (16th) and Portugal (19th).
