On September 25 in Kiev in the House of Football the events of the project "11x11 champions. Football for Youth and Region Development »

The aim of the project is to provide logistical support to amateur football clubs, children's and youth sports facilities and to promote amateur football in Ukraine.

As part of the project, a press conference will be held on the project in 11 communities of amateur football clubs - winners of the national selection, and in all other regions of Ukraine, where for the first time in the history of Ukrainian football training of amateur club managers and leaders of mass volunteers football using the best German experience.

Oleksandr Kadenko, First Vice-President of the Amateur Football Association of Ukraine, will take part in communication with mass media representatives; First Vice President of the Ukrainian Football Association, world football legend Oleh Protasov; Sabine Mueller, GIZ Regional Director for Ukraine and Belarus; Tobias Schrader, Officer for Economic Cooperation and Development of the Embassy of the Federal Republic of Germany in Ukraine; representatives of amateur football clubs - project participants; children - project participants and their parents.

At the end of the press conference, the opening of the Festival of Champions "Open Football Lessons" will take place with the participation of children and volunteers - participants of the project.

The project is implemented by the Amateur Football Association of Ukraine in partnership with the Ukrainian Football Association and the Ministry of Regional Development, Construction and Housing of Ukraine with the financial support of the German government through the federal company Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH.

In addition to the very important financial component for Ukrainian small communities, thanks to the project "11x11 champions. Football for the Development of Youth and Regions ”was conducted on the basis of the leading German experience. 60 football specialists from each region of Ukraine were trained in two main areas - training of managers of amateur football clubs and training of volunteers. They, in turn, conducted training in the regions for 1950 representatives of amateur clubs and volunteers.

"This project is very valuable for amateur football in Ukraine. It will, of course, bring great benefits to football clubs, children's and youth sports institutions in terms of developing their infrastructure, creating European conditions for sports and promoting the emergence of new football teams in our country, "said First Vice President of AAFU Alexander Kadenko.
