The Premier League. Dynamo defeated Mariupol in the postponed match of the 4th round

Today the match of the 4th round between Dynamo and Mariupol took place, which was postponed from August due to the involvement of both teams in the European Cups.

Kiev came to Mariupol after two victories (over Malmo and Vorskla), which finally allowed the white and blues to feel confident again. But there were guests and losses. Burda was injured in Poltava, and the coaches gave Mykolenko a chance to rest.

Oleksandr Babich's team turned out to be a strong nut for Dynamo. In the first half, the guests attacked more sharply, but "Mariupol" kept their goal intact thanks primarily to Khudzhamov, who made three great saves. After the break, the hosts went on the attack with great force, and Kiev had to defend for a long time. But in the last minutes the Azovs physically sat down, and the white and blues staged a final assault. First, Tsygankov hit the crossbar, and then Verbych from Karavaev's pass, who acted as a left-back in this match, scored the only goal in the match with his head.

The game was attended by players of Kiev, called for the October gathering of the national team of Ukraine: Boyko, Karavayev (goalkeeper), Shabanov, Tsygankov, Buyalsky (replaced by 89 minutes).
