UEFA coefficient table: Ukraine scored four more points, but remained in 10th position
Shakhtar's victory over Atalanta in the Champions League, as well as Alexandria's draw with Ghent and Dynamo's Lugano in the Europa League allowed Ukraine to earn another 4 points for the UEFA coefficient table.
Now Shakhtar has 6 points, Zora has 4, Dynamo has 3,5, Oleksandriya has 1, and Mariupol has 0,5. So, the score is currently 15 points, or 3,0 points.
Only Holland gained more points than Ukraine (0,8) among our neighbors this week - 1,4. In the end, all associations remained in their positions.
It will be recalled that after the reform of the European Cups and the introduction of the third tournament in 2021, both the eighth and ninth associations in the UEFA odds table have exactly the same quotas in the European Cups. Namely - the participation of five clubs: two - in the Champions League (one - in the group stage, one - in the third qualifying round), one - in the Europa League (in the playoffs) and two - in the UEFA Conference League (one - in the third qualifying round and one - in the second qualifying round). But the 10th position loses certain privileges (the second winner starts in the Champions League a stage earlier). Not to mention the 11th, which does not allow the association to automatically delegate its club to the group stage of the Champions League.
