Dmitry Mykhaylenko: “Friendship is friendship, and the ticket to the Cup quarter-finals is one”

In the 1/8 finals of the Cup of Ukraine, the draw brought together two truly cup teams - "Dnipro-1" and "Ingulets". Not to mention that Dnipro made it to the semifinals of the tournament for two years in a row, and last season the team from Petrovo lost to Shakhtar only in the final.

- To be honest, this is not the worst option for us, - said the head coach of "Dnipro-1" Dmitry Mikhailenko in a comment to the official website of the UAF on the results of the draw. - After all, we could get to one of the grandees at an early stage. And so there will be another opportunity to meet the players of Ingulets - our geographical neighbors, with whom we have long maintained friendly relations. After all, although we play in different leagues, we often hold control matches.

But friendship is friendship, and the pass to the quarterfinals is one. So, I am convinced, there will be a real men's struggle. Let the stronger one win! Moreover, having made their way to the final of the Cup of Ukraine quite recently, Serhiy Lavrynenko's wards have enriched themselves with valuable experience and have a qualified team.

As for our team, the club management has not put any tasks in the cup tournament. Although, of course, it tends to stay as long as possible.
