Head coach of the youth team of Ukraine (U-17) Alexander Petrakov believes that sparring with the team of Armenia will be useful for blue and yellow.

The gathering of the youth team of Ukraine (players not older than 2003 year of birth), which will play in the qualification of the European Championship in November, continues. Head coach Oleksandr Petrakov told the latest news from the camp of the Ukrainian team.

- Oleksandr Vasyliovych, considering that Dynamo did not release its players, did new players get a call to your national team? 

- So. These are goalkeeper Ilya Olkhovy, midfielder David Fomenko and forward Dmytro Shostak. Unfortunately, Shakhtar goalkeeper Timur Puzankov, who was out for a month and a half, was injured, so he will not help us in the European Championship qualifiers.

- Will new players or those who have not been called up to this team lately be able to fully understand your philosophy?

- It will be very difficult. The next training camp organized by the UAF in Armenia will be timed to the official matches. By the way, I want to say a big thank you to Lviv's Karpaty, who helped with the players.

- What about the nearest rival?

- There have always been good teams. Armenians try to play technical, fast football, they follow the scheme of 4-3-3. Therefore, we will have a good level of the enemy.

- Are you already studying opponents in the Euro qualifiers?

- I know them all well. Naturally, the information about these teams is gradually updated, so after the current training camp I will get acquainted in more detail with the changes in these teams.

We will remind that Alexander Petrakov's team prepares for a qualifying round of Euro-2020 (U-17) which will be held in Portugal in November this year. There, the national team of Ukraine will play with Georgia (13th), Albania (16th) and Portugal (19th).
