Second League. An unexpected result in Magdalinovka, dramatic events in Ternopil

The 14th round of the Ukrainian championship among the teams of the second league began with a confrontation in Odessa, where "Chornomorets-2" hosted the leader of group "B" - "Crystal".

Before the break it was difficult to give preference to anyone, moreover, it was the hosts who grazed the back in the table, opened the scoring after a shot by Vladislav Turkan. And it is unknown whether the guests would have managed to achieve the desired, if already in overtime Serhiy Tsoi from the penalty spot did not equalize. This missed ball knocked the hosts off the track, and after the break the game advantage of Kherson was no longer in doubt. And they should only complain to themselves that after Vladyslav Apostolyuk brought the guests forward, he, as well as Ivan Hlyvy and Andriy Barladym did not score from positions from which it is very difficult not to score. "Crystal" won a strong-willed victory and continues to lead the standings.

However, the nearest pursuers do not slow down. Footballers of VPK-Agro in Magdalinivka won an impressive victory over Girnyk, which did not hide its plans to rise in the class. And although the guests took the lead after a shot by Sergei Gvozdevich, the hosts before the break restored parity thanks to a shot by Sergei Aleksanov. And the second half was a benefit for Serhiy Solovyov's wards: Ivan Budnyak, Bohdan Shmyhelsky, Oleksandr Loginov and Aramais Margaryan brought the case to defeat - 5: 1. Given that the Alliance has also recorded another victory, it can be concluded that the Pitman is dropping out of the race for a place on the podium.

And in group "A" the relations were clarified by the teams that were on different floors of the standings. The only exception was the match in Uzhhorod, where the "citizens" hosted "Kalush", which was two points ahead of them. Thanks to the goal of grenadier Artem Korolchuk, the hosts celebrated a victory that allowed them not only to exchange places in the standings with Kalush, but also to overtake Podillya, which quite unexpectedly lost in Vinnytsia.

The events in Ternopil, where Niva met with Bukovyna, unfolded dramatically. The guests opened the scoring in the debut, but in the compensated time of the first half the hosts leveled the score. In the middle of the second half, they remained in the minority, but soon the Bukovina player was removed from the field. In the 90th minute, Niva striker Serhiy Kyslenko tilted the scales to the side of his team.
