Today, Metalist veterans and a team of journalists are playing the Kharkiv Cup

Today at 16.00 in Kharkiv at the stadium "Dynamo-Arena" will begin a charity football match "Kharkiv Cup" between the team of veterans of FC "Metalist" and the team of journalists of Ukraine.

The purpose of the match is to help orphans and displaced children from Eastern Ukraine and Crimea.

Kharkiv Cup will be held as part of UAF events before match between the national teams of Ukraine and Lithuania in the Euro 2020 qualification.

The organizers of the charity match were: the Ukrainian Football Association, UPL, Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, Kharkiv Regional Football Federation and the News Center news agency.

Autistic children, orphans and displaced children from Eastern Ukraine will come to the match between the teams of veterans and journalists. All of them will receive as a gift tickets for the match of the national team and sports equipment.

Thanks to the 2016 Parliamentary Cup, which was played out between teams of MPs and journalists, sensory rooms for autistic children were set up at the Primavera Correctional Center. Thanks to the Odessa Cup-2016, it was possible to provide charitable assistance in the form of sports equipment for children and youth sports school of Berezivka district.

In 2017, the team of journalists opened a children's playground in the village of Komyshuvakha, Popasna district, Luhansk region.

During the Odessa Cup and the Dnieper Cup this year, migrant children from Eastern Ukraine received football gifts and tickets to the match for the Super Cup of Ukraine and the match of national teams Ukraine - Nigeria.
