Beach Soccer Team of Ukraine in the first match at the World Beach Games lost to the Iranians

The Ukrainian beach soccer team started the group round of the World Beach Games in Qatar with a defeat. In their opening match in Group C, the blue and yellows lost to Iran in a tense struggle.

In the match with the favorite of our quartet, the Ukrainians played in a weakened lineup. Goalkeeper Vitaliy Sydorenko and nominal defender Roman Pachev missed the match due to red cards received in the previous official match. 

Despite this, the Ukrainians started the match well. Ivan Glutsky opened the scoring in the 12th second of the game. And although the Iranians soon regained their balance, our guys scored three more times before the first break. The double was scored by Oleg Zborovsky, and the fourth goal was scored by Yuriy Shcherytsia - 4: 1. However, literally in a few seconds our team missed a goal in return. 

In the second period, the national team of Iran, which ranks fifth in the BSWW world rankings, managed to score another goal, and in the third 12-minute scored two more. In the end - 4: 5.
