After two rounds, the white and blues together with "Copenhagen" led the quartet Bby scoring four points each. Therefore, the people of Kiev had the opportunity to form a single leadership. But the draw of the match left the teams in the positions they occupied.

The starting lineup of Dynamo looked quite unusual. De Pena and Verbych got to it together. This meant that the Slovene would act in the attack, forming a tandem with Besedin in front. At the same time, due to damage, Buyalsky was not even in stock.

The beginning of the meeting was amazing for the white and blues. Oleksiy Mykhailychenko's team, which had not missed in the previous seven matches, lost in the 2nd minute. Kyiv allowed the opponents to play a goal combination directly in their penalty area. Bushchan did not dare to intercept the flank pass, and Mykolenko did not prevent Stage to throw the ball with his head under the blow of Sotiriou, who attacked at a second pace. 0: 1.
