In the Vinnytsia region, in the town of Shargorod, the national team of Ukraine among veterans in a friendly match dedicated to the support of our defenders-soldiers, defeated the national team of Shargorod district - 4: 1.

Shargorod has a rich football history: once the local team played in the second league of the Ukrainian championship, repeatedly won the regional championship. Nowadays, old-timers remember those times with sadness, nostalgia for the full stands of Kolos Stadium and the joy of victories. A certain vacuum from the lack of sports spectacles was filled by a visit to the ancient city of national football legends. Fans from all over the district gathered to meet the favorites, who were opposed by the best players of Shargorod region, and a children's tournament among the best teams of Vinnytsia region was held in honor of this event. The match was organized by Agrobusiness LLC with the support of the Ukrainian Football Association and the Association of Football Veterans of Ukraine.

Prominent Ukrainian performers came to the cozy stadium to the applause of the spectators: Vladyslav Vashchuk, Serhiy Nagornyak, Eduard Tsikhmeistruk, Sviatoslav Syrota, Bohdan Shershun, Yuriy Maksymov, Serhiy Shyshchenko, Vyacheslav Svidersky, Viktor Ulyanytsky, Volodymyr Venglynsky, Andriy Venglynsky Vitaliy Samoilov, Vitaliy Mandzyuk and Mykola Ishchenko. Coaches Anatoliy Demyanenko and Volodymyr Lozynsky gathered and united outstanding players. The founder and ideological inspirer of this wonderful team is the vice-president of UAF, the president of AVFU Oleh Sobutsky.

Sergey Shishchenko didn't play for the national team of veterans for almost a year, and the reason for that is very respectable - the young coach headed the first league «Nikolaev». In Shargorod, Sergei was lucky, showing incredible skill. Actually, like all his partners, whose bright actions always caused applause in the stands. Shishchenko scored twice in the first half, then Vladyslav Vashchuk scored a beautiful goal from 15 meters into the top nine, and Vitaliy Samoilov scored the fourth goal.

The referee of the meeting was Igor Vinokur, now he is the mayor of Shargorod, and a few decades ago he worked as the head of the city football team. He saw a violation of the rules in the penalty area of ​​Svyatoslav Sirota and awarded a penalty, which was implemented. In the end - 4: 1 in favor of our famous players!

After the match, without betraying the traditions, its participants called on the football field of the ATO participants present, personally handing each a souvenir paraphernalia.

The special importance of holding a football day in Shargorod was noted by the head of the Vinnytsia Regional Football Federation Igor Gataullin. According to the man, who has been in charge of football in the region for many years and is a member of the governing body of the UAF, such large-scale events will help promote football in the region. "Six children's teams competed in the tournament in the morning, later they were replaced by veterans - the best players in Ukraine and local players. Shargorod, having a glorious football past, deserved such a holiday. I want to thank everyone who joined his organization, "Gataullin said.

Having taken more than a thousand selfies and probably handed out even more autographs, the famous football players left such a hospitable Shargorod. And in a few days there will be new football and a new meeting with the fans: on October 30, the day of the cup match between Dynamo and Shakhtar, the veterans' team will play against the team of journalists of Ukraine at the Temp Stadium in Kyiv. ).
