U-17: Oleksandr Petrakov has decided to make up the Junior National Team of Ukraine for the Euro 2020 qualifying round

On November 6, the Ukrainian national team (players not older than 2003) will begin preparations for their first official tournament.

The head coach of the youth national team of Ukraine U-17 Oleksandr Petrakov named the team that will start preparing for the qualifying matches of the 6 European Championship on November 2020. There are 21 football players on the list.

Goalkeepers: Denis Ignatenko (Dynamo Kyiv), Pavlo Isenko (Vorskla Poltava).

Defenders: Mark Mampassi, Eduard Kozyk, Andriy Buleza (all - Shakhtar Donetsk), Volodymyr Malenkov, Maksym Dyachuk (both - Dynamo Kyiv), Vitaliy Roman (Karpaty Lviv), Glib Savchuk (UFK-Karpaty Lviv) .

Midfielders: Artur Mykytyshyn, Oleg Ocheretko (both Shakhtar Donetsk), Oleksandr Jacyk (Dynamo Kyiv), Maksym Khlan (Karpaty Lviv), Mykita Kononov, Serhiy Lebedev (both Dnipro-1 Dnipro), Bohdan Shubin (Schalke, Germany).

Forwards: Nazar Voloshin, Kyrylo Popov (both Dynamo Kyiv), Denys Shostak, Vladyslav Pohoriliy (both Shakhtar Donetsk), Dmytro Shostak (Karpaty Lviv).

In the Euro 2020 Qualifying Round (U-17), which will be held in Portugal, Ukraine's national team will play with Georgia (13 November), Albania (16 th) and Portugal (19 th).

The two strongest teams in each of the 13 groups and the top four teams, which will take third place (as a result of meetings with the two leaders of their group), will advance to the elite round, where Spain and England are already waiting. Matches of this stage will take place in March 2020.

In the elite round, all participants will be divided into eight groups. The winners of the groups and the seven best second teams (according to the results of the matches with the first and third teams of their group) will reach the final stage, where they will join the host of Euro - Estonia. The final tournament will take place in May 2020.
