News from the national team camp: first training and interview for UEFA

Today, the national team held its first training session in November. The class was an evening and was held at the Bannikov Scientific and Production Complex.

The training, which lasted about an hour, was attended by almost all the players who are now in the position of the blue-yellows. Only Yevhen Konoplyanka and Vitaliy Mykolenko worked on an individual program, but tomorrow the doctors will allow them to train in a general group.

Today, the mentors offered the performers quite intensive work on the field with physical and tactical tasks.

Traditionally, time is short: tomorrow the national team will hold an official pre-match training on the eve of a friendly meeting with Estonia.

In agreement with UEFA, this training will take place in Kyiv, at the NSC "Olympic", as weather conditions do not contribute to the preservation of the lawn at the "Slavutych Arena", where they have already held one training session, and tomorrow will have another, our guests.

Then tomorrow at 16.00 Andriy Shevchenko and one of the players of the national team will meet with the media in the conference hall of "Olympic", and in half an hour all the coaches and players will start working on the field of the main arena of the country.

After training, the teams will have lunch at the Opera Hotel, and then immediately go to Boryspil airport, from where they will depart for Zaporizhia at 21.00 p.m. In the capital of the Cossack region, the main team will settle in the hotel "Glory".

Today's working day of the national team ended with an interview for the UEFA television group, which is preparing a story about the finalist of Euro 2020 - the national team of Ukraine.

In addition to the head coach of the national team Andriy Shevchenko, Andrei Yarmolenko, Roman Yaremchuk and Yevgeny Konoplyanka spoke about the vicissitudes of the qualification struggle and the key factors of success.
