Ruslan Rotan: “Danes are well prepared physically and tactically”

In the qualifying match of Euro-2021 (U-21) for the head coach of the Ukrainian "youth" Ruslan Rotan, the team's game is in the first place, but no one forgets about the positive result.

On the eve of the next match of the Euro-2021 (U-21) selection against Denmark, the leader of the youth national team of Ukraine Ruslan Rotan spoke to the press.

- Our mood is fighting, - said the head coach of the Ukrainian "youth". - We expect a very difficult match with the leader of our group. The Danish national team is a disciplined team with qualified performers.

As for our team, we have some staffing issues. But, I think, tomorrow it will not affect the potential of the national team.

- How difficult is the Danish national team?

- She is very well prepared physically and tactically, but the national team of Ukraine is not going to adapt to the opponent. We want to improve our game.

- What will be your priority tomorrow - the team's game or the result?

- I have repeatedly said that we are building a game. But Lviv is a special place for the national teams of Ukraine, so I already told the guys that nothing else is expected from us here, except for the victory, so no one from the team and the coaching staff takes responsibility for the result.

- What can the national team of Ukraine oppose to the leader of our group?

- As I said, we are building the actions of the youth team. The team wants to be similar to the main team of the country, so that in the future, moving there, players have an understanding of the principles of the game.

- You said about the problems. What are they?

- Vladyslav Vakula did not come to the national team's location due to a back injury, Yukhym Konoplya fell ill, Denis Popov has small problems. Therefore, we will decide on the starting lineup tomorrow closer to noon after consultations with medical staff.

- Have you watched all the matches of the Danish national team in the current qualifying tournament?

- Yes, and we have already shown the guys everything and told them how to face this opponent.
