The VII Reporting Conference of the Amateur Football Association of Ukraine was held

More than 60 delegates from AAFU collective members and guests from all regions of Ukraine gathered on Tuesday at the Football House to take part in the next VII Reporting and Election Conference.

The main issues on the agenda were the evaluation of the AAFU's work for the reporting period, the election of the association's management, the executive committee and other working bodies of the organization. Honorary guests of the conference were the President of the Ukrainian Football Association, UEFA Executive Committee member Andriy Pavelko, UAF First Vice President Vadym Kostyuchenko and Deputy Chairman of the Committee on Physical Education and Sports of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine Volodymyr Artamonov.

AAFU President Fedir Shpyg thanked everyone for their support and assistance in the work of the association. The first vice-president of the organization Oleksandr Kadenko acquainted the participants of the conference with the main points of AAFU activity since 2015: 

"As for our activities in the reporting period, I have to dwell on the competition" Leather Ball ". As before, we continued to compete in four age groups - among 11-, 12-, 13- and 14-year-old players. The finals were held both in the capital region and in other cities of Ukraine, in particular in Lviv, Ivano-Frankivsk, Sumy, Chernivtsi, Kremenchug, Slavuta, Nova Kakhovka, Berdyansk, Myrhorod. Dozens of cities and towns have become the center of qualifying tournaments ...

... Regarding the increase of amateur teams in the class, at the moment we have and feel the full support of the leadership of the Ukrainian Football Association. The practice of admitting to the PFL competitions teams that did not take and do not take part in the championship of Ukraine among amateur teams has stopped. The AAFU and PFL regulations this season clearly define the number of teams that can acquire professional status - these are the six best teams in the championship. If we all adhere to the prescribed regulations, I am convinced - we will have a stronger amateur championship of Ukraine, and more competitive competitions in the second league.

I would like to note a positive point regarding the state of the infrastructure of football clubs that participated in competitions under the auspices of the AAFU in 2016-2019.

Football for the development of youth and regions ", the Amateur Football Association of Ukraine implemented in 2018-2019 in partnership with the Ukrainian Football Association together with regional federations with the financial support of the German government through the federal company Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH.

The work of the AAFU during the reporting period was assessed as satisfactory. The delegates also elected the leadership of the association for a new period. Fedor Shpyh was elected President of the AAFU, Oleksandr Kadenko was elected First Vice President, and Andriy Bibu and Taras Klim were elected Vice Presidents. Fedir Shpyh, Oleksandr Kadenko, Andriy Biba, Taras Klym, Viktor Bezsmertny, Viktor Grabchak, Yaroslav Hrysio, Andriy Dunebabin, Mykola Zhelezny, Serhiy Zagoruyko, Oleh Zubarev, Olena Korobka, Mykola Motornyi, and Anatoliy Svystun became members of the executive committee.
