All-Ukrainian Seminar for Teachers of Mass Soccer Development Launched in Kyiv

On November 26, the All-Ukrainian seminar for teachers "Development of grassroots football" started in Kyiv with the participation of the leaders of the Ukrainian Football Association and the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine.

To take part in the seminar "Development of grassroots football" and compete in the finals of the All-Ukrainian competition for the best football lesson and the best innovative lesson of physical culture, the capital's Football House was visited by physical education teachers and education specialists who implement school football development programs. The Ukrainian Football Association together with the Amateur Football Association of Ukraine managed to prepare a rich program for the first day of the national event.

Before the seminar, the guests were introduced to UEFA and UAF GROW projects. Igor Yankovych, UEFA's program coordinator for the development of grassroots football, described how they are implemented in Ukraine: “I am glad that Ukraine has become part of an important project that has already been successfully implemented in several Eastern European countries. After a systematic study within the GROW program, we will be able to understand where there is still room for improvement, ie how best to develop school, women's and children's football, as well as what UEFA needs to achieve high rates of football development in Ukraine. With the support of all units aimed at the development of football and sports in general, we hope to show a really high result in the development of grassroots football in two years. "

In turn, the head of the UEFA GROW UAF pilot project Oksana Lesyk noted that the main goal of this program is to implement systemic changes and achieve a long-term effect in the development of children's and youth and grassroots football in our country: Kyiv oblasts - implementation of activities within the framework of the UEFA GROW Participation program in Ukraine continues. It is important that our projects receive an extremely positive perception and active participation among children and youth, as well as among their parents. Everyone understands that sport is an integral part of modern life, healthy development and success. This is the most important factor that will certainly increase the popularity of the program and its effectiveness. "

A lot of interesting things could be seen and heard at the presentation of the Futsal Association of Ukraine, which concerned the School Futsal League.

The UAF Women's Football Committee has prepared a presentation on the development of women's and girls' football. Physical education teachers also received a lot of interesting information during the presentation of FC Shakhtar (Donetsk) club football project "Let's play!", Thanks to which boys and girls aged seven to 12 play football with coaches on 66 fields for free. in 33 cities of Ukraine. In total, by 2019, about 4 children were involved in the project. The participants of the seminar also paid a lot of attention to the Open Football Lessons project.

Oleksandr Kadenko, First Vice-President of the Amateur Football Association of Ukraine, said: “We have and feel the full support of the leadership of the Ukrainian Football Association. I would like to note a positive point about the state of the infrastructure of football clubs that participated in competitions under the auspices of the AAFU in 2016-2019. In addition, I would like to focus on the project "11x11 champions. Football for the Development of Youth and Regions ", which the Amateur Football Association of Ukraine implemented in 2018-2019 in partnership with the Ukrainian Football Association, as well as with regional federations with the financial support of the German government through the federal company GIZ (Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit GmbH). .

The second part of the event was opened by the first vice-president of UAF Vadym Kostyuchenko, who conveyed to the teachers sincere congratulations from the president of UAF Andriy Pavelko, head coach of Ukraine Andriy Shevchenko and all players of the national team: "Thanks to you, physical education teachers not only bring them pleasure, but also, most importantly, form in them a desire to lead a healthy lifestyle.

Oleh Protasov, the first vice-president of the UAF, a legend of Ukrainian football, spoke about the priority of football: “We must give children, people in general, even those who rarely play, the right direction so that they love football even more. I started playing football in the yard myself, but it was a disorganized hobby. Therefore, our goal is to provide conditions, organize children and direct them in the right direction. "

After the speeches, the finals of the All-Ukrainian competition for the best football lesson and the best innovative physical culture lesson were drawn, to which Svetlana Vyshnia (Odessa region), Olga Mazmanyan (Kherson region), Volodymyr Maistro (Kharkiv region), Andriy Mali (Donetsk) .) and Zorisla Shinkaruk (Vinnytsia Region).

The winner of the final of the competition in accordance with the established procedure may be nominated for the title of "Honored Teacher of Ukraine".

The final part of the event was the most enjoyable. The winners of the competition in their fields received diplomas, football equipment and equipment from UAF.
