Winners of the Football Stars of Ukraine -2019 Award at the Olympic NSC
Today, December 2, at the NSC "Olympic" was a solemn ceremony of awarding "Football Stars of Ukraine" -2019 - a joint project of the Ukrainian Football Association and the All-Ukrainian Association of Professional Footballers.
The winners were named in a number of nominations during the ceremony. Special honors were also awarded for the most successful football projects of 2019.

It should be noted that the winners were chosen by independent voting of professional football players and head coaches (coaches / assistant coaches) of the All-Ukrainian football competitions among the teams of Premier League and Professional Football League 2019.
The ceremony was attended by President of the Ukrainian Football Association, member of the UEFA Executive Committee Andriy Pavelko, First Vice President of the UAF Oleh Protasov, Chairman of the UAF National Teams Committee Myron Markevych, Chairman of the UAF Referees Committee Luciano Luci, well-known officials and coaches, Ukrainian stars Volodymyr Onyschenko, Oleh Kuznetsov, Natalia Zinchenko, Serhiy Nagornyak, Vasyl Kardash, Oleksandr Shovkovsky, Anatoliy Konkov, Anatoliy Demyanenko, Mykola Pavlov, Ihor Gataullin, Vitaliy Kosovsky and others.

"I want to congratulate everyone on an important year, which gave a lot of bright emotions," Andriy Pavelko said in his welcoming speech. "I want the fans to remember these emotions and adjust to next year, because we have no less plans for it."
The head of the national association also stressed that the large-scale program of development of football infrastructure, implemented by UAF, gives an opportunity to plan the future victories of our football.

Separately, Andriy Pavelko noted the results in 2019 of the national team and the U-20 youth team. He stressed that the main team of the country, which won its group of the qualifying tournament for Euro 2020, this year held home matches in five different cities of Ukraine, and in Zaporozhye - for the first time.

"I want to express my gratitude to my assistants, without whom our success would be impossible," said Andriy Shevchenko, under whose leadership the national team of Ukraine won a ticket to Euro 2020. - Special thanks to the Ukrainian fans who perfectly supported us in important matches. I would also like to thank the leaders of the Ukrainian Football Association, who, after failing to qualify for the 2018 World Cup, expressed their trust in us and gave us the opportunity to continue working with the team. Time has confirmed the fidelity of our chosen path. "

"I want to thank my teammates, the coach, my family," said Tyson, Ukraine's best football player of 2019, after receiving the award. "I'm just a guy who left his homeland in 2010 and went for his dream."
