Andriy Shevchenko: "It's nice that we have advanced medicine too"

Head coach of the national team of Ukraine Andriy Shevchenko participated in a press conference held today at the Institute of Cell Therapy.

The topic of the event was advanced technologies of treatment of arthrosis of the knee joints with the help of cell therapy based on the use of stem cells in general and placental stem cells in particular. The blue-yellow mentor shared his personal experience in the matter.

"I am very pleased that Ukraine has technologies that are not inferior to the world," said Andriy Shevchenko. - Based on my own experience, I can say that in the course of my career the knee joint suffered certain injuries. I had several surgeries. The knee joint is constantly deformed, so sports are very affected. Already after the end of the footballer's career, the joint began to become inflamed, pains appeared.

It was hard to fight. And although I used some advanced technology, they did not have much effect. Then I learned about this new method of treatment. I first heard about her in America. Literally two or three years ago I came to Kyiv, and after meeting specialists I was told about the treatment of the knee joint. It was very interesting for me - and at the same time it is nice that we have advanced medicine.

When I first tried the treatment, I immediately felt better. The joint began to respond much better to the load. The synovial fluid disappeared immediately. I began to feel better. That's why I advised this technology to my friends. "

Andriy Shevchenko also stressed that he was very pleased that our Ukrainian production had reached such a high level.
