Andriy Pavelko participated in the final meeting of the UEFA Executive Committee

Today, December 4, the meeting of the UEFA Executive Committee was held in Nyon, Switzerland, with the participation of the President of the Ukrainian Football Association Andriy Pavelko. 

Members of the UEFA Executive Committee addressed a number of issues on the agenda, including reports from UEFA committees. In particular, the Committee on the Status of Players, Transfers, Agents and Match Agents, headed by Andriy Pavelko, and the Legal Committee, where the President of the UAF works as the Deputy Chairman. The UEFA Executive Committee also discussed the European qualification for the 2022 World Cup, the UEFA Nations League of Nations 2020/21, the UEFA Champions League and Euro-2021 among women's teams, the implementation of the VAR, national associations and UEFA strategy, as well as the agenda of the next UEFA Congress. "Among other things, the issue of implementing VAR technology was discussed, and in this context Ukraine already has something to be proud of. After all, the first group of our referees has been successfully trained, as evidenced by the relevant FIFA report, and is ready to use VAR from the first matches of the UPL in the new year. In general, the UEFA year was rich in new interesting ideas, programs and projects that have already been implemented or will be implemented in the near future. I am proud to represent Ukraine in the European process of football development! ” - said Andriy Pavelko after the end of the UEFA Executive Committee.
